Occurrence remarks Tree, 35 m high, dbh 80 cm. Trunk brown, in lower part scally, in upper part with cracks. Buttresses low, small. Slash 10-25 mm, bright pink changing to bright brown upon exposure, fibrous, inner most layer whitish. With a lot of liquid, sticky, white latex. Inner bark thick, 3-15 [?] mm. Sapwood yellow with a 1 mm thick outer layer. Leaves in top of tree reddish. Leaves collected on forest floor, rust-red below.
