Occurrence remarks | Herbs, up to 60 cm high. Leaves papery, upper side somewhat glossy, very dark green, lower side slightly glossy, greyish green with purple-red hairs, margins purple. Young leaves with red hairs. Peduncle and bracts pale to light green with red hairs. Pedicel white. Tepals white with a dark red basal spot and red margins. Stamens yellow. Ovary very pale green with red hairs. Female flower tepals as in male flower. Styles dark yellow. |
