Occurrence remarks | Small tree, two trunks, c. 10 m tall and DBH 20 cm. Nodes of leaflets are black. Black dots near midvein. Thickened leafbase (pulvinus?). Large flowers, 7 cm length, tube-shaped. Petals are red/purple, darker coloured at tips, and have 4-5 lobes. Under side of the lower lobe is lighter red/orange/yellow. Calyx olive green. Flower has sweet scent. Flower stems are reddish. |
