Occurrence remarks Herb, c. 20 cm high. Roots widening downwards, forming spindle-shaped tubers, 4 x ½ cm. Leaves herbaceous, above bright green, glossy, beneath dull and slightly pale green with glossy nerves. Peduncle green. Pedicel and the 6 tepals very pale green to whitish. Stamens 6, filaments white. Anthers citron-yellow. Style white. Bracts pale green. Fruits triangular in cross-section, inverse-heart-shaped from aside, 8 x 7 mm, pale green. Seeds black.
