Organism remarks Ascending plant with 1 - 2 m long decumbent stems; leaves spirally arranged, lamina ca. 7.5cm x 2.5cm petiolate, nearly glabrous. Inflorescences axillary, 15 - 30cm from the apex of the plant and not at ground level; flowers bisexual, usually a single flower on an ovate bract but in one case 2 flowers, 1 already faded; petals white, curled over, united below into a narrow tube ca. 1cm long; stamens 6, equal, filaments white, some bent ( unequal?), glabrous at apex, hairy at base, anthers yellow, identical. Observed at 1330 hr.
