Additional properties

Organism remarks Shrubby epiphyte on huge forest tree, c. 30 m above ground level together with Rhipsalis (No.11632) and Zingiberaceae (no.11630). Lower parts of stem really woody. Leaves fleshy, above glossy green with red nervation, beneath much paler green almost silvery-green and with prominent conspicuous red nervation. Outer perianth segments purplish-white, outside red with white edge inside. Inner two segments much smaller, red. Styles predominantly 4, stigmas usually entire, slightly spreading.
