Additional properties

Organism remarks Tree, 5 m high with long drooping branches. Branches with ridges. Leaves leathery, upper side glossy, dark green, lower side dull, pale greenish grey. Young leaves pale brown-purple. Partly ramniflorous on 2 cm thick branches. Sepals medium green. Petals with a clasping basal part, that is purple at base and green in the second half, lobes of outer 3 petals angled with basal part, pale yellow, slightly tinged red, inner ones pale yellow. Petals in very young buds purple. Fruits elliptoid, 14 x 9 mm, medium green with dark purple.
