Occurrence remarks | Treelet, 11 m high. Plagiotropic branches hollow, housing large cylindrical black ants. Leaves leathery, upper side glossy, very dark green with a pale green primary nerve, lower side somewhat glossy, pale green with very pale green primary and secondary nerves and dark green tertiary nerves. Bracts brown, flowers in bud greenish white, arranged in a horseshoe shape around the petiole base. |
