Organism remarks Tree, c. 36 m high. DBH 86 cm. Leaves firm leathery (but breakable), upper glossy, dark green, lower side almost dull, medium green. Young leaves light green. Peduncle and pedicel light green. Bracteoles white with pale greenish hairs. Filaments white, those of staminodes wrinkly. Anthers very dark purple. Ovary light green, style white. Most flowers with more than 5 stamens, 6 is regular, but even up to 8 possible. Flowers slightly fragrant, visited by small bees and some butterflies. On 30.IX.1994 pods were present in this tree.
