Organism remarks | Tall grasses forming dense homogenous stand of about 10 sq. m., stems 3 - 4 m long, usually with the lower 1 m prostrate, otherwise erect, thus about 3 m high, stems shiny greenish-cream, clad in pad green striate sheaths, blade stiffly papery, pale green with paler parallel nerves, smooth, edges often inrolled, inflorescence branches pale green, smooth, spikelets silvery brown strawy, with silvery coton at the base of the florets. |
