Organism remarks Huge tree about 45-50 m tall DBH: plus ou moins but some small buttresses up to 2 m high buttresses on the ground up to 90 cm wide (measured from the main stem). bark grey smooth to longitudinally finely ridged first branches at about 35 m.crown partly leafless now that the tree is in flowers found on the ground perianth (sepals) dirty pale yellow covered by stellate brown hairs somewhat dirty brown-red at the creamy staminal-tube flowers with somewhat unpleasant sweet smell.Many bees visiting the flowers fallen from the the tree.See also my n°8246.Flowers and dried leaves collected on the ground.
