Additional properties

Organism remarks Outerbark rather smooth, pale grey, scattered with rather big brown lenticels. Living b ark about 9mm thick. Slash of white with reddish brown lines, no exudate. Wood rather hard, pale brown, reddish-brown in centre. Bole cylindrical, no buttresses, but strongly developped startings of the roots. Leaves thick, leathery, somewhat glossy green above, and with prominent pale green midrib, much paler green beneath. Immature fruits green, ovate to slightly obovate (containing one seed ?) about 30 x 20mm. Cut fruits with slight bitter almonds scent.
