Occurrence remarks Twining very thin and slender herbaceous parasite up to 1 m long on Ctenium newtonii and Xyris spp., with little or no chlorophyll, thin glabrous stems, scales and haustoria pale yellowish green to brownish-yellow to reddish-brown. Corolla creamish-white to bright white, corolla tips at developing fruits turning red, fruits a bit transparent white.
