Occurrence remarks Shrub, 3½ m high. Leaves firm papery, above somewhat glossy, medium to dark green, beneath slightly glossy, very pale green with an even paler primary nerve. Sepals red in bud, getting reddish yellow in old flowers. Petals yellow, salmon coloured near the base. Filaments and styles salmon coloured. Anthers yellow.
