Organism remarks Clustering palm, senescent, trunk up to 2.5m, leaves, base with strap-like fibres up to 1.5m long, not entwining the trunk, petiole up to 4m, rachis up to 10m, leaflets regularly spaced, fully developed leaflets positioned in different angles, leaflets decreasing in size distally, leaflets shining green above with silvery-grey tomentum below, rachis at base u-shaped, in central part diamond shaped. Fruiting at 2.5m with 2 axillary infructescences, infructescences pendulous rachis up to 2m long, mature fruits up to 8x4cm, scales green turning bright orange-brown, margin dark brown.
