Organism remarks Tree, about 23m tall, growing on edge of swamp. DBH ± 35cm. Bark smooth pale brownish -grey, dark reddish-brown inside, wood medium hard, whitish the heartwood dark brown with blackish circles. Crown badly shaped, well branched, densely foliaged. Leaflets leathery, rather dull dark green above. Bracts enveloping the flower in bud, greenish-white. Petals (1) white, gradually turning brown. Stamens 3, filaments white. Anthers greenish-black. Ovary green, style white. Flowers slightly fragrant, more or less fetid. Flowers in spirit coll. at WAG.
