Organism remarks Tree, 12 m high. Leaves firm leathery, glossy, upper side darkish green, lower side medium green. Young leaves greenish purple, all over the surface but especially at base with glands visited by ants. Female flowers: Tepals green. Ovary green. Style green, stigmas greenish yellow. Male flowers: tepals pale green. Filaments greenish white, anthers yellow. Some male inflorescences ending in female flowers. Fruits broadly obovoid, green, pink at base.
