Organism remarks Tall tree, about 32m tall, DBH 40cm, withoutbuttresses. Outerbark smooth, pale brownish-grey. Wood medium hard, very pale yellow, reddish brown in the centre. Bracteoles enclosing the flower completely in bud, pale silvery-pink. Leaflets thick, leathery. Sepals 5, small, pale reddish-green, only the superior petal developed, 10 x 4mm small, white or pale pink. Stamens 10 all fertile flowers fragrant. Somewhat gregarious, rather common species in this forest type.
