Organism remarks Tree, 20 m tall, DBH. : ± 37 cm growing in understorey. Bole very slightly fluted, outerbark grey-brown, scaling in longitudinal narrow plates. Young flowers completely covered by valvate sepals. Leaves leathery, glossy, green above, also glossy but much paler green beneath. Flowers mainly on the od branches but not exclusively. Flowerbuds 3-winged. Sepals pale greenish-brown. Petals yellow. Stamens pale red. Flowers senting like tulips.
