Occurrence remarks Lianescent epiphyte (no descending stem found), 35 m high in a tree. Leaves herbaceous, upper side somewhat glossy, medium green, lower side shiny, pale purplish green. Twigs purplish green with purple thorns. Plant is stinging which produces a burning pain for c. 10 minutes. Sterile sample.
