Occurrence remarks | Planted treelet, 3½ m high. DBH 8½ cm. Leaves folded together because it is raining. Leaflets papery, upper side dull, light green, lower side dull, greyish green. Sepals (5) free at base, fused at the apex, pale green. In young flowers standard yellow with dark red spots, fused into a large spot in the centre, other petals white with small red spots. In older flowers ground colour of all petals becomes pink and the standard reflexes. Filament (1) white, anther dark brown. Staminodes pale green to pink. Style small, creamy white. |
