Organism remarks Tree about 10 m high, slender bole rather dark grey brown, cauliflorous pubescent, calyx and outer petals pale with brown pubescence outside, almost white within, inner petals pink-red, minutely puberulous, anther connective wine red, styles white, some flowers borne on the branches below the leaves, twigs brown pubescent, leaves thickly papery, smooth, shiny rather dark green above, glaucous silvery green with prom. nerves below.
