Occurrence remarks | Huge forest liana, here in roadside. Flowers olive-green, 4-merous, the petals extremely small. Leaves almost coriaceous, very slightly glossy, very dark green above, grey-green beneath. Flowers scented. The bark of the stem characteristically peeling in small longitudinal flakes, which become loose at the ends, and often curling backwards. The young inflorescences with young leaves silvery brown. |
