Additional properties

Organism remarks Tree, about 26 m high, with regular distributed wide, densely foliaged crown. The thick branches more or less horizontally. DBH. ± 50 cm. Bole cylindrical, no buttresses. Outer bark peeling in rather thin dark brown flaky scales. Wood extremely hard, twisted, pale brownish-white. The small heart-wood brown. The forst branches 15 m. Above the ground. Leaves leathery, dull and very dark green above, also dull but much paler green beneath. Young leaves red, via bronze turning green. Flowers probably al male. Sepals 4, pale green. Petals 4, pale lemon-yellow. Stamen-bundles 4, whitish, curved to the centre of the flower, bearing many whitish anthers. A orange-yellow sticky stigma like structure in the centre of the flower. Flowers faintly fragrant.
