Occurrence remarks | Tree, 9½ m high. DBH 11½ cm. Leaves papery, above glossy, very dark green with pale greenish yellow primary and secondary nerves, beneath somewhat glossy, darkish medium green, with prominent, pale reddish brown primary and secondary nerves. Fruits elliptic to ovate, up to 34 x 23 mm, first yellowish green, turning dark red, finally very dark purple, almost black. Mature fruits with yellow juicy mesocarp. |
