Occurrence remarks Herb, up to 40 cm high. Stems first, creeping on forest floor. Leaves herbaceous, above green, dull and densely covered with long, erect brown hairs, beneath paler green and covered with flat white hairs, except the midrib, midrib with some hairs as above. Flowers white. Sepals 3, with purple hairs at the lip. Anthers yellow. Fruits dark red at maturity.
